Demographie,<span class="ContentPasted6"> </span></span>Bevölkerungsforschung und Bevölkerungsgeographie (DBB) gegenüber Feminist, Critical, Radical, Emotional etc. Geographies hat dazu geführt, dass Wissenschaftler*innen, die sich fern von Messung und statistischer
Darstellung mit bevölkerungsrelevanten Phänomenen beschäftigen [wollen], in die Feminist Geographies, Migration Studies und Feminist Geopolitics abwander(te)n. Dies ist nachvollziehbar und kein Grund zur Kritik. Einzelne Forschende versuchen die DBB jedoch
für feministische Perspektiven zu öffnen, um zu zeigen, dass DBB mehr sein sollten, als eine Wissenschaft der Datenbereitstellung für staatliche Organisations-, Beratungs- und Handlungsinteressen.
