normal">Arbeit verändert sich derzeit sehr stark: Digitalisierung,
unbezahlte Sorgearbeit, Home-Office, Leiharbeit, Klimakrise –
das
sind nur einige Stichworte, die den Wandel der Arbeit antreiben.
Transformationsprozesse von Arbeit sind einerseits auf vielfältige
Weise mit ungleichen Geschlechterverhältnissen und
intersektionalen Differenzierungen verbunden. Andererseits spielen
auch Geographien eine Rolle, z.B. in Verwebungen verschiedener
Skalen (vom Körper über das Zuhause über Städte
bis hin zu
globalen Verhältnissen), in Form von Distanzen zwischen Arbeits-
und Wohnort oder der Gestaltung der Arbeitsorte der Erwerbs-,
Sorge- oder Gemeinwohlarbeit selbst. Die Covid19-Pandemie
beschleunigt derzeit den Wandel von Arbeit und damit verbundene
Ungleichheiten – befördert aber auch neue Arbeitsverhältnisse und
neue Formen der Prekarität. Auch zeigt die Pandemie nochmal
verstärkt die Relevanz von Debatten um Resilienz, Nachhaltigkeit
und sozial-ökologische Transformationen auf. Sie hinterfragt den
Sinn und Zweck des Wirtschaftens sowie Auf- und Abwertungen von
lebenserhaltenden Tätigkeiten in einem erweiterten
Care-Verständnis, das auch nicht-menschliche Lebewesen umfasst. <br>

is currently changing in diverse ways: digitalisation, unpaid
care work, remote work, temporary work, climate crisis – these
are just a few of the moments that are driving the change of
labour. Transformation processes of labour are, on the one hand,
associated in various ways with unequal gender relations and
intersectional differentiations. On the other hand, geographies
also play a role, e.g. in interwoven</span><span class="jlqj4b"><span
style="mso-ansi-language:EN" lang="EN"> scales (from the body
to the home to cities and global relationships), in the</span></span><span
style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US" lang="EN"> </span><span
style="mso-ansi-language:EN-US" lang="EN-US">form of distances
between places of work and places of residence, the design of
workplaces of paid, care or community work. The Covid19 pandemic
is currently accelerating change in existing labour relations
and inherent inequalities – but it initiates new labour
relations and new forms of precarity, too. The pandemic also
shows the relevance of debates about resilience, sustainability
and socio-ecological transformations. It addresses fundamental
questions about the meaning and purpose of economic activity as
well as about the revaluation and devaluation of life-sustaining
activities in a wider understanding of care, which also includes
non-human beings.</span></p>
