<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN" style="font-size:11.0pt">The <i>Working Group on</i> <i>Labour Geography </i>of<i> </i>the German Society of Geography <i>(Deutsche Gesellschaft für Geographie/DGfG) </i>invites all members and interested researchers to
its next annual meeting. It will be taking place at the <i>Institute for Geography and Spatial Research, University of Graz, Austria</i> from the early afternoon of Thursday the 13<sup>th</sup> through Friday the 14<sup>th</sup> of February, 2025. </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:11.0pt"><o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN" style="font-size:11.0pt">With this meeting we aim to stimulate and foster exchange among researchers who are concerned with issues related to the organization of work, labour agency, and the social conditions and forms of
workers’ collective organization in contemporary capitalism from a geographical perspective. </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:11.0pt"><o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN" style="font-size:11.0pt">At the meeting we will discuss current topics in the field of labour geography and the broader research area of labour studies. This year, we will focus in particular on questions related to care
and social reproductive work. We will debate feminist, Marxist, and other critical theories and approaches to understanding work and actively direct our attention to various forms of paid and unpaid reproductive labour. Contributions are open, however, from
all those concerned with advancing the scientific field of labour geography theoretically and through practical engagement with workers’ struggles. </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:11.0pt"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
