This is unfortunately a very last minute invitation to join us for an exciting keynote with Catherine D’Ignazio (MIT) and a workshop and networking event the following day:

The Digital In/Justice Initiative at the University of Bern warmly invites you to a talk and workshop on 14 and 15th of May with Catherine D’Ignazio (MIT)to talk about her perspectives on data feminism and mapping femicide. (Both events are in-person only, but if you happen to be in Bern (CH) or nearby this week, we would love to see you!)

Catherine is Associate Professor of Urban Science and Planning at MIT and co-leads the research and participatory design project Data Against Feminicide. She has recently published Counting Feminicide: Data Feminism in Action, and we are looking forward to an engaging discussion on her ideas with all of you.

Date: 14/05/2025,  16:15-18:00 for the lecture and apéro
