with the usal apologies for cross-posting, I would like to draw your attention to two lecture series that take place this semester in Bern.

Bernese Human Geography Colloquium Spring 2023
We have put together an exciting program with three talks this semester. Please join us for discussion across the borders of your unit and invite students and interested people! The colloquium takes place on Tuesdays from 12-14 in room 002 at GIUB (see program attached).
4 April: The Commons Reimagined,  Prof. Dr. Miriam Tola, Université Lausanne  (ONLINE!)
2 May:  Manufacturing Nowtopia: Local economic democracy in the here and now, Dr. Thomas Smith, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München
23 May: Resurgent white nativist and ecofascist demographic anxieties: White space-making populationism in the Age of Climate Change, Prof. Dr. Rajani Bhatia, University of Albany


Lecture Series „Reproductive Justice“
In collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Center for Gender Studies (IZFG), our unit - social and cultural geographies - organizes a lecture series this semester around reproductive justice. The lecture series consists of talks, round tables, a film night and two panels with activists. Please join us whenevery you have time and circulate it widely!  (see program attached)
