[News] Invitation to our DKG-CfP on Nurturing sustainable agriculture, food and water security discourses through social relations and subjective perspectives

Dear all,

we would like to invite you to submit a paper to our paper session on “Nurturing sustainable agriculture, food and water security discourses through social relations and subjective perspectives<https://dkg2023.de/sitzungen/nurturing-sustainable-agriculture-food-and-81958>” at the DKG 2023 in Frankfurt am Main.
The session discusses the important role of social relations and human-nature interactions for sustainable agriculture, food and water security to oppose hegemonic technocratic discourses. This may imply e. g. the role of power and gender relations, rural (out-)migration decisions, intersectionality, collective action, emotional attachment, critical awareness, subjective perspectives with farming and resources, intuition, human-animal-environment-interaction.
We welcome contributions with critical perspectives on agricultural discourses by March 13th.
