Dear friends and colleagues

 

We are hiring  a postdoctoral researcher to participate in our exciting project about predictive algorithms and migration policies in Sweden: “Calculating migration: a multi sited ethnography of algorithmic governance and redistribution keys” at Linköping University.  The project is funded by Riksbankens Jubileumsfond (RJ).

 

Beyond the formality of the job advertising (mainly shaped by HR procedures), we are looking for a social researcher interested in algorithms and borders/migration. It can be someone working on sts/feminist technoscience studies, critical migration/border studies, or any cognate field. The postdoctoral researcher will join a multidisciplinary team of STSers, Migration Studies researchers, and Gender Studies scholars.  It is a 2-year position with the possibility of extension depending on additional funding. It will be based at the Department of Gender Studies (TEMA G, LiU)
