Los movimientos feministas se reconocen como un movimiento global. (Cómo)
puede funcionar, dadas las diferencias y las críticas (justificadas) hacia
el feminismo blanco de clase media que pretende representar un movimiento
global.¿ Con este panel nos gustaría aprovechar la “oportunidad" creada por
las actuales condiciones pandémicas y los notables éxitos de las luchas
feministas decoloniales, para explorar la cuestión de “cómo podemos aprender
de las luchas feministas del Sur” sin apropiarnos de ellas. Como punto de
referencia actual, nos quisiéramos centrar en las luchas contra el
feminicido/femi(ni)cidio/femicidio, que han sido centrales en las luchas
feministas en América Latina [feminicidio], en el continente africano
[femicide] y recientemente en Europa [Femi(ni)zid]. Estarán representadas
las perspectivas de la producción de conocimiento feminista y las voces
activistas del Sur. El panel irá acompañado por un mapa autoetnográfico.

 

Feministische Bewegungen werden als eine globale Bewegung aufgefasst. (Wie)
geht das – bei allen Unterschieden und der berechtigten Kritik an einem
weißen Mittelklasse-Feminismus, der als stellvertretend für eine globale
Bewegung wahrgenommen wird? Mit dem Panel möchten wir das
Gelegenheitsfenster nutzen, das durch die pandemischen Bedingungen und die
Erfolge dekolonialer feministischer Kämpfe entstanden ist und der Frage
nachgehen, wie „von dekolonialen feministischen Kämpfen gelernt werden kann"
– ohne sie sich anzueignen. Als praktischen Bezugspunkt möchten wir die
Debatte anhand des Kampfes um die Sichtbarmachung von Femi(ni)ziden
strukturieren. Dieser ist in Lateinamerika, auf dem afrikanischen Kontinent
und unlängst in Europa ein Kristallisationspunkt feministischer Kämpfe
geworden ist. Perspektiven feministischer Wissensproduktion und
aktivistische Stimmen aus dem Süden sollen vor allem zu Wort kommen. Das
Panel wird von der Erstellung einer autoethnographischen Karte begleitet.

 

Feminist movements are conceived as a global movement. (How) can this work –
given the differences and the justified criticism of white middle-class
feminism claiming to represent a global movement? With this panel we use the
“window of opportunity” created by the current pandemic and the remarkable
successes of decolonial feminist struggles, to explore the question of “how
can we learn from decolonial feminist struggles” without appropriating them.
As a current point of reference, we focus on the struggles against
femi(ni)cide, which have been central to feminist movements in Latin
America, on the African continent and recently in Europe. Perspectives of
feminist knowledge production will be represented and activist voices from
the South will have their say. The panel will be accompanied by the creation
of an autoethnographic map.
