Herzliche Einladung zum Workshop Partizipative Gesundheitsforschung!

Datum: 7. Sept. 2020, 10:00-17:00
Ort: Zürich, Careum Auditorium (online Beteiligung möglich für die Session am Morgen)
Sprache: Der Workshop findet in Englisch und Deutsch statt (Morgen: Präsentationen in Englisch, Diskussion in Deutsch und Englisch; Nachmittag: Deutsch- und Englischsprachige Arbeitsgruppen)

Ziel und Inhalt in Kürze (Details s. Anhang):

-          Am Vormittag lernen und diskutieren wir Grundprinzipien und verschiedene Formen der partizipativen Forschung. Wir lernen von den Erfahrungen von Ko-Forschenden und diskutieren, was partizipative Forschung für verschiedene Interessengruppen bedeutet.

-          Am Nachmittag erkunden wir in kleinen Arbeitsgruppen das Potenzial und die Herausforderungen der partizipativen Forschung für unsere eigenen Projekte.

-          Nach den beiden Sitzungen gibt es während des Apéros Gelegenheit zu einem ausgedehnten informellen Austausch und Networking

Warum sich mit partizipativer Gesundheitsforschung beschäftigen?
Es gibt viele Gründe; der vielleicht wichtigste ist dieser: Weil die partizipative Forschung ein fruchtbarer Weg ist, um die Produktion und Verbreitung von Wissen zu demokratisieren.

A warm invitation to the workshop Participatory Health Research!

Date: September 7th 2020, from 10:00 to 17:00.
Venue: Zurich Careum Auditorium (online participation available for the morning session)
Language: The workshop will be held in English and German (morning: presentations in English, discussion in English and German; afternoon: English and German working groups)

Objective and content in a nutshell (see attachment for details):

-          In the morning, we learn about and discuss basic principles and various forms of participatory research. We learn from the experiences of co-researchers and discuss what participatory research means for various stakeholders.

-          In the afternoon, we explore the potential and challenges of participatory research for our own projects in small working groups.

-          After the two sessions, there is an opportunity for extended informal exchange and networking during the Apéro.

Why engaging with Participatory Health Research?
There are many reasons; the perhaps most important one is this: Because participatory research is a fruitful approach for more democratic processes in the production and dissemination of knowledge.
